Were there yesterday for dinner with 6 people. Everything was very tasty, hot and nicely presented! TOP hygiene concept implemented. Everything was right! Gladly again.....

We were in the Hessmühle for the first time today, but certainly not for the last time. Outside you sit fantastic and so idyllic that you don't even want to get up. The menu is small but nice and is complemented by seasonal specialists. The wine selection is very good. The food is of high quality and tastes fantastic. The chef knows his job. The presentation of the food, like its composition, is also very appealing. The service was professional and very kind and friendly. Special requests such as additional seat cushions for our children were courteously resolved. The positive picture is rounded off by reasonable prices. All in all a great find and we will definitely be back.

We wanted to spend a nice evening in the great beer garden, but it fell into the water. We could hardly stand it at our first table as we were being attacked by wasps. Then we decided to change the table - to the area under the trees, where we sat more sheltered. Knowing that we now have to pay a disinfection fee of 2 euros, but we didn't care! At the new table we sat more relaxed and calm. The boss reacted briskly to our table change and demonstratively threw the tablecloth on the floor. The blackboard of the menu, which was at our new table, was more or less torn out of our hands after I briefly touched it above to see what recommendations there were. When asked about the reaction, there was the statement that the board now had to be disinfected (I touched it at the top left and right!) And accordingly rewritten. I think it's good that the hygiene regulations are adhered to so rigorously, but here, too, the sound makes the music! Here, too, we asked the boss directly and the answer was that this situation now means increased stress - with the advice that he works a lot after all. We replied that we were working more even under the current conditions, to which our answer was: “But definitely not 12 to 14 hours!”. Um, YES! We also work that long a day in places! This behavior is very unprofessional in my opinion. It was also strange that we were in the you-form during this conversation and when we were paid we were suddenly addressed as "you" and "you". I found this circumstance very strange too. Unfortunately, this evening ended very quickly and unpleasantly and this restaurant no longer has to worry that you only have to invest a minute of your working time, we will avoid it!

Top! We were there for the second time this year. Excellent service! The cheese soup remains my favorite there :) Very clean, safe and delicious! A table is always reserved outside and inside, so that you can change as needed if it gets too cold, for example. It is always a pleasure to dine there, clear recommendation. A really nice, cozy restaurant. You can also sit outside very nicely. The food was really very good. I ate one of the best side dishes there and I go to many restaurants. The fillet of beef and the pikeperch were very good. We will definitely come back. There is the star deduction because the starter was unfortunately overlooked but after the next visit I will add the star. We can really only recommend the restaurant.
